  • Motorcycle story People shopping for their first guitar typically come from one of two perspectives. Either they abolutely know what kind of guitar they want, or they don't have a good idea at all and simply don't want to make the wrong decision.
If you're already sure you're a headbanger through-and-through and you're dying to get your fingers (with black fingernail polish) on a Gibson Flying V, well... go for it!
For most of us, the decision will never be that easy. We love music and we're excited to learn, but c'mon! There are waaay too many choice out there. And some of these guitars are really expensive! Does that mean an inexpensive guitar will play like trash?
Please don't let this case of commercial over-stimulation keep you from your guitar strumming dreams. And no, you absolutely do not need to break the bank on your first guitar.
